Nike is launching the Women’s Air Force 1 XX Star Studded this week in black and white. They have little star shaped studs on them!
According to Nike, the new Women’s Air Force 1 XX Star Studded is the latest iteration of the classic 07 silhouette and an intergalactic show stopper. They come in black or white.
Space prints and metallics are hot this season, which we predicted last year in an article. Even NASA is getting into the streetwear game by collaborating with certain brands and labels. The Women’s Air Force 1 XX Star Studded ($110) will be available starting Nike on November 23, 2018.
Nike does a pretty good job of including women in their campaigns. Although they do segregate their Instagram accounts into male and female. Here you see what the Air Force looks like.
The Air Force 1 was originally released in the 80’s as a men’s basketball shoe. They were named after Air Force 1, the jet that the President of the US flies in when they travel. They are a classic piece of street fashion, and can be worn with other hip hop influenced clothes and accessories. Try mixing the Air Force 1 XX Star Studded with a NASA shirt and a galaxy print handbag.
