Justice celebrate 10 years of music with Woman Worldwide a special edition tour album on vinyl. It took 25 months on the road to record.
In Billboard, Justice reveal how they recorded Woman Worldwide over 25 months in 30 locations. It combines sounds from † (2007), Audio (2011), Audio Video Disco (2011) and Woman (2016).
The French duo consisting of Gaspard Augé and Xavier de Rosnay rehearsed their set list for six months and added special effects and visuals. Then they went on a world tour and recorded it. There is audio from Coachella, Ultra Music Festival 2017, Google’s I/O conference and more.
De Rosnay stated, “We are still making everything in a very, I don’t know the word exactly, artisanal way. Like, it must be perfect,” He continued, “It is not always good because we are very slow in making things… In our studio, just taking the time to make them, so every project we start working on takes like three or four years. But that’s the way we work, and we’re happy like this.”
