RÜFÜS DU SOL hinted at an upcoming third studio album with an esoteric music video for the first single “No Place.”
The music video for “No Place” by RÜFÜS DU SOL features people wandering through a parched desert wearing dark robes. What are they looking for, is it a cult of some type?
RÜFÜS DU SOL is course an alternative dance group from Australia. The EDM band consists of Tyrone Lindqvist, Jon George and James Hunt, who wrote and produced all the songs.
Representatives of RÜFÜS DU SOL said, “‘No Place’ is the first piece of music from an album we’ve been working on solidly for over a year now. It took about a year to find the song we felt right about as the first piece of music from this record. We knew as soon as we heard it come out of the speakers that this was how we wanted to greet people this time around. It feels good to be back.”
On Instagram the band posted a US tour schedule that has already sold out in Austin, Phoenix, Los Angeles, Denver, Toronto, Boston and New York. New dates were recently added.
The date for release of the new album has not been released, nor has the album title.
