To celebrate New Year’s Eve, Insomniac Events threw a three day long EDM festival called Countdown 2017 that was uniquely southern California.
Countdown 2017 took place at the NOS Events Center in San Bernardino, California from December 30 to 31. Expectations were high as the crowd anticipated a massive lineup that included performances by famous DJ’s such as Datsik, Deadmau5, Dieselboy, Diplo, Flosstradamus, Galantis, Noisia, Porter Robinson, Zed’s Dead and many more. Plus there were art installations and Insomniac fam.

On New Year’s Eve weekend the slutty raver costumes were even more on point than usual. Here are only ten of the awesome looks spotted at Countdown 2017.
Albert Ray Cyrus paid homage to disco in a chainmail halter, face jewels and glitter makeup.
Crystal Aileen Pulido donned a high thigh cut iridescent body suit and fishnet stockings.
Cute Nug turnt up in a shiny, mermaid green two piece with bell sleeves, plus silver platform boots. Her friend was attired in a black mesh crop top with pasties, black platform sneakers and fishnets.
Hilton del Rey went with a Fire Sisters theme that was so over the top that Deadmau5 agreed to take a photo with them. He pretty much had to because their costumes were so spectacular.
Khloe Kitten, fitness enthusiast and Insomniac promoter, displayed a rave totem reading, “A hoe never gets cold,” in a poignant reminder that it is very rude to ask a woman if she is cold.
Janelle Elizabeth, aka Forbidden Kitten, wore a mesh crop top with pasties and flame pattern joggers.
Marquis accidentally wore the same top as Elizabeth but he had a good time nonetheless.
Narges Kaz is shown here in blue velvet leggings, a fringe tube top and futuristic yet retro sunglasses.
Raina Grigsby, vegan and Virgo, was photographed in a cut out bodysuit, fur jacket and glitter makeup.
Victoria Elena Compton is also a whip dancer. She dressed up as a rave unicorn with her friend.
Insomniac Events throws a lot of parties but the next big EDM festival in our opinion is going to be Electric Daisy Carnival Mexico from February 24 to 25, 2018. It takes place in Mexico City, where they have a rich, vibrant art scene, affordable hospitality and delicious street tacos. Check out the lineup.
