Converse and MadeMe released their second collaboration of platform One Stars and cowboy themed street wear.
Last May Converse and MadeMe revealed their collection of platform One Stars and 90’s influenced street fashions. Now they are back for another round. This time they chose a cowboy theme that is sporty at the same time. Therefore they are now street cowboys. Although cowboys usually ride horses or pickup trucks on long, dusty trails. So figure that one out.
The Women’s Track Jacket ($120) and Women’s Track Pants ($90) come in both red and beige or light brown. The traditional track suit has western edge with the embroidered seams and arrow detailing. The Women’s Lace-Up Top ($50) is a retro inspired cotton-poly blend crop top that comes in red or white. The One Star Platform Low Top ($110) shown here in pink and red.
Other pieces include a Women’s Western Purse ($120) in pink or black vinyl with lace-up western styling. And a Women’s T-Shirt ($35) with a cowboy boots graphic that comes in pink or black. The One Star Platform Low Top ($110) is also available in beige and black.
The new gear works in both the country and the city. On their official Instagram account, MadeMe proclaims, “RODEO QUEEN ⭐️ MadeMe x @converse 12.8.18 ⭐️.” While Converse representatives call it, “Urban sportswear with a country twist.” They add, “Outlaw girls, this one’s for you.”
