Christian Cowan Celebrates 420 with Capsule Collection

Christian Cowan dropped a 420 capsule collection exclusively at VFILES. And he revealed he smokes mad weed in a video interview.

According to the press release at VFILES, both Cowan and VFILES are celebrating April 20th by releasing this limited edition capsule collection. The t-shirts, crewnecks, bodysuits and dad hats have a cannabis theme with Canal Street graphics and glimmering pot leaves.

In the Too Much Information (TMI) with Cowan he says, “In England it’s all about spliffs. Everyone in LA is always about bongs.” He continues, “And I would love to collaborate with a bong brand.”

Then Cowan hints that he is a customer of Med Men in Los Angeles. (Recreational use was recently legalized in the state of California.) “Like there’s all these huge brands now like Med Men, and all those different ones.” He talks about a pop up he recently attended at the marijuana dispensary, “My boyfriend just did a massive party with them yesterday.”

Last February the 420 collection was included as part of the FW 18 fashion show at New York Fashion Week. Gwen Stefani just wore one of the dresses with fishnets and boots in Las Vegas. Cardi B and Lady Gaga are also reported to be fans of the fashion label.

Cowan said the new season was inspired by an Amy Winehouse quote, “When I sing a song, I want to forget my problems for three and a half minutes.” Then he explained, “So I really wanted to do that in the collection. Escapism to the max.”
