The “Light Is Coming” by Ariana Grande and Nicki Minaj was produced by Pharell. And there is a dark and misty music video.
In the wake of “Bed” Nicky Minaj and Ariana Grande have released a less whorish music video with a fresh, experimental sound. They had a little help from rapper and producer Pharrell Williams.
It’s not a typical pop song like you expect from the two by now. You can hear the influence of Pharell in the chorus, in which Grande repeats, “The light is coming to give back everything the darkness stole…” over and over again. Maybe she is feeling optimistic about making a fresh start.
Minaj’s lyrics sound a lot deeper than usual. Maybe she took a poetry class or something.
The new track is part of Grande’s upcoming LP Sweetener, which will be her fourth studio album. It is expected on August 17, 2018 via Republic Records.

Soon you will be able to listen to an entire new album from the Gorillaz in 2D sound. Clean Bandit got together with Demi Lovato on “Solo” which is about masturbating.
