Designer logos such as Off-White, Balenciaga, Gucci and Prada have all introduced platform sneaker sandal hybrids to their collections in 2018. With the recent popularity of the dad sneaker running all over town, it would seem that cozy flatform sneaker-sandals are cool now.

The Rick Owens Black Spartan Hiking Sandals top the list at $1200. They are made from buffed leather, and feature an ankle strap, press-release fastenings and platform soles.

2. Off-White

Off-White was not having a good day when they designed the Women’s Yellow Industrial Belt Sandals ($955), because they say “5,400 pound weight securing system” on the straps.

3. Balenciaga

The Balenciaga Foam Embellished Platform Clog ($850) are available for pre-order as part of the fall 2018 collection. The towering platform clogs feature Balenciaga logo embellishments.

4. Gucci

Behold the Sunrise Platform Leather Sandal by Gucci ($830) with multicolor quilted hearts. It looks kind of like jelly sandals had sex with a pair of Doc Martens and this is their bastard offspring.

5. Proenza Schouler

The Proenza Schouler Black & White Flatform Sandals (On sale for $609) are Italian made grained and buffed leather sandals. They feature a four inch heel on a two inch rubber platform.

6. Marni

The Marni Crossover Sandal in Technical Fabric with Piping (On sale for $540) is a chunky, platform sandal with rhinestone details. The glass stones are embroidered to the technical fabric.

7. Stella McCartney

Stella McCartney Striped Platform Slides ($535) come in red and blue or black and white. According to the designer, the minimalist slides have a signature raw-edged platform sole.

8. Prada

These summer 2018 Prada Sandals ($463) are only available in the United Kingdom. They also make a black and white pair of flatform sandals that a baby cow had to die for.

9. Marc Jacobs

The Marc Jacobs Somewhere Sports Sandals ($275) look like a severely damaged pair of sneakers. They are the most reasonably priced of this list, and come in neon green, raspberry or black.

10. Dr. Martens

The Dr. Martens Blare Temperley ($125) are cherry red Doc Martens that are also chunky sandals. If you love wearing steel toed boots then these are the summer sandals for you.
